Vince Shaw

Vince Shaw has been part of “the family” at Niagara Falls Golf Club for 18 years. Vince worked as assistant to two different superintendents and has obviously taken the turf management theories from both. He prides himself with creating a formula for consistency and quality on all our putting surfaces. Vince has been Greens Superintendent for over 8 years and has worked with the University of Guelph, and Hutchinsons turf management to continually monitor our playing surfaces

Being part of destination golf, has given Vince a second to none approach, and is available 7 days a week to make our test of golf a quality one. Vince has expanded irrigation systems for improved coverage and has installed cart paths throughout the course to minimize traffic from the tee to the green and improve fairways.

Vince assisted in the design and construction of our target practice range and was instrumental in having Niagara Falls Golf Club featured in ‘tee to green’ magazine. Vince is also responsible for maintaining our on-site residences and customer relations requests from our stay and play guests and golfers.

Vince’s capable staff respect his continuous work ethic and strive to make your visit to Niagara Falls Golf Club a challenging, but enjoyable experience.

We thank Vince Shaw for being a big part of the equation for success of Niagara Falls Golf Club, from developing and making a par 69 into a par 72, building a new practice facility and co-coordinating with guest services to best provide our guests with their needs on the turf.
